our story
how it all started..
We often get asked how our business started and where we got the inspiration for our business.
Our family have been in the building and landscaping forever. With our Dad inspiring us to be self-employed and always telling us “if you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life,” John and I knew we would always go down this route.
John ran a very successful landscaping business for over 10 years whilst I finished my Art & Design Degree and worked as a florist full-time. We would often talk about going into business together.
In 2018, John rowed across the Atlantic which took him 55 days, this is where he came up with the idea to start a garden room business and asked if I wanted to join him. We spent months coming up with our business plan, garden room designs, website, creating our display studio and most importantly where we wanted to go with it in years to come. Our main goal was to create a garden room which was different to what was on the market, we wanted to offer a different aesthetic design and offer something that was going to last.
We began to build our display studio which we then toad on a trailer around the country to get our garden room business out there. With hard work and determination we saw through a world pandemic and came out the other side stronger. We continue to go from strength to strength each year, expanding our designs and work force. We started with a team of four (including john and I) and now we have a team of 9. We have a fantastic team who work alongside us including our younger brother Bryce, and our father Tony - we are blessed to call ourselves a family run business.
We have such a care and passion for the quality of work we provide and take great pride in offering the best service we can. Our way of thinking when we are building a garden room for a customer is we are building a garden room for a family member, never cutting corners, always providing the best finish and only using the best quality materials. We strive to always be transparent with our customers and love the bond we have with them during the job and after we have wrapped.
